TBH I have been crying and going a little crazy wanting to avoid the Moumita case. Unfortunately as a woman you really just cant. I can hear Bharat Mata ki Jai (independece day slogans coming out of my window) and all I think is how mothers of this country are not safe. daughters are not safe. sisters, friends, wives. how can you call your country a mother and then go ahead and hurt her children?
I have been searching for candle light vigils/ silent vigils or ANYTHING that we as just normal citizens can do. I didnt find any. So I have decided that if the community would like to come out and support – I’ll be at the Osho Garden (I very well know the irony) from 5 to 7 (or till it closes). Even if no one shows up – I will still be there.
I have been at protests but I have never organized any. I’d like any support or suggestion.
