Hey Guys,

I am a Punekar living in the Kothrud area and working in IT for 3 years now. I personally have seen all my friends move out of India, so am fairly lonely.
I realised that a lot of folks here would love to meet each other and make new friends.
Let’s organise a meetup next weekend – Saturday or Sunday? (This weekend wud be dicey due to NY celeb)

    It’s not the location, its the people who make them feel unsafe and they skip. Many users dont understand the concept of privacy, being doxxed, boundaries to respect while asking questions or making comments. And then complain that there arent enough females. This isnt a dating site. You can ask for users of all kinds to attend, but singling out or asking females (even with the best interests) to attend is a sureshot way to stop them from participating.

    Hello!

    Not everyone works in IT, some work in the service industry as well. So No weekends off! Missed last meetup for the same reason.
    .
    Can we plan it on weekdays? As a lunch or dinner?

    We can have it in Karvenagar, its fairly accessible to everyone, safe.

    Potential places can be barometer, good for 20 to 30 people (I don’t know how many people will show up so if there are a lot then this won’t work)

    Don’t know other places where many people can gather together for a meet up

    Edit: Can someone create another post with a google form which will have location question and options for different meet-up areas (not exact location), preferred date fields so we can know how many people are roughly interested and the location which will be accessible to most of them and the day of the week (i.e. weekend or weekdays)
