Apli PMPML application has been launched recently. With this, we can now track buses real time.
The city buses routes on Google Maps were often not correct and it didn’t have certain buses/routes listed.
Now with official app, the data will be more accurate and precise. I hope they will continue to improve this service and more buses receives the GPS upgrade.

Now we can atleast see if the bus is late or not coming so we can make other plans.
In my childhood, we had to wait hours on a bus stop coz pass was available only for that bus..

Update: ghanta kaam nahi karta 😭 non functionality works, the buses location are updated 1+ min ago and that only, no buses are coming for any stop the only bus passing from my stop near katraj is a bus waiting in nigdi..

Actually there was an app to track buses, they had implemented simple service using BRT station’s door opening tech which informed of the bus location but as you can imagine tracking was limited to BRT stations.

Thanks for the update, OP. I like the UI of the app. I hope they can integrate the Pune Metro App into it as well. Plus bus routes/timings will also help in the future.
