Can I join a Dhol Pathak being a corporate office employee?

I am in love with Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and I love dhol tasha sounds and I want to participate as a puneri dhol player in next year’s Ganesh Chaturthi.

I will be joining a job in Pune (a very busy job) from November, so I am moving to Pune. I have heard that practice for dhol tasha starts atleast 2 months before.

So, would the Pathak organisations allow me to participate if I can only practice at weekends in those 2 months and maybe 10 days off before the Chaturthi.
