Accidents wrt Cars without number plates, Drinking and drive, Rash driving…..

Had to take a short trip yesterday from Kothrud to Hinjewadi. I am a frequent commuter btw, once/twice every week.

While going I chose the highway –> Balewadi –> Mahalunge route.

While returning I take the Nande/Chande –> Sus Village –> Highway route. (it feels less crowded and road is good compared to the shitshow Builder lobby has caused near Mahalunge thanks to their construction sites.)

Just too many big shot guys( the usual APPA/DADA loka ) with black tinted windows and no number plate or with that showroom red coloured number plate. One or two were driving steadily and others like usual instant speeding and braking.

I wonder what happens when there is an incident where something happens due to these unregistered vehicles, what then?

Then there are the drink and drive cases. I genuinely fear to go out and drive on main roads. Recent drink and drive incident near my home (Karishma Chowk) and that thought keeps coming to my mind whenever I step out and start my scooter/car.

Then there is another breed of young energitic dudes going rowdy all the time on their vehicles. Its out of control, dangerous and hazardous for everyone present on that road.

Its pathetic how frequent, normal and casual this has become.

I am not any supporter of any party, but this is arguably the weakest home minister I have ever seen.

Is Mr. Fandavis depressed or what ? He had somewhat a better run as a Home Minister during 2014-2019. Even then he did have some shady and controversial moments (regarding to goons/builder extortion, meet up cases) but now its completely worse and I feel he has given up thanks to BJP’s and Yuti’s own internal crisis. (Yeah MVA are literally doing no damage to the current government).

Forgetting the politics —–> My point : A common citizen like me has become more paranoid than ever. Somehow I doubt the rich and ultra rich are even worried.
