Anyone going via Bhumkar Chowk after 5:30 pm during any season faces lot of traffic.
Yesterday I was on my 2 wheeler alone, and majority of the 4 wheelers only had 1 driver sitting in the car coming from Hinjewadi side. I was like wtf? Don’t understand why people commuting alone need to get a big car and occupy the space on roads that leads to huge traffic.
I am sure, this is not only the case in Bhumkar Chowk but in other areas as well in Pune.
It gets more worse during rainy season.
People just thinking about their convenience and not bothering much about their own and others time, air pollution, noise pollution and what not
How can we improve on this? Telling them to commute using 2 wheeler is the only option I see if they listen to this advice to control traffic and save time
