My maid has a 14 year old child and her husband had expired few years ago. She is very poor and doesn’t have her own house. She lives in her brothers house, who is very abusive and alcoholic, and beats her 14 year old child frequently. This morning she was crying again and told her son is in 8th standard and post this she won’t continue her school.
Feel very bad for them, is there any NGO or institution where she can stay, work to earn some money so that her child gets education and they get a better life?
Is there someone who is looking for a full time domestic help who can give them a room to live?
Or can you give any other leads and ideas which I cannot think of as of now.
I have recently moved to Pune, few months back only for job, so I am not much aware of the possibilities here.

Note: Please do not suggest for police action etc, looking for some kind and mature suggestions here, focus being on the possibility of them moving out of her brother’s house, for a better life.
