It’s been a regular thing over the years, especially during monsoon. The authorities come and take down the overhead sheds that cafes and restaurants put up outside their indoor premises.
I take it that they’re not allowed to do so and that property may not belong to them? But what exactly is this all about, does someone have any idea?
And them doing it during monsoon, when the sheds are actually needed, and not throughout the year, points towards a different intent than merely upholding the law. Especially when you consider the sheds are back in place in no time.
