I came across a couple of things on the Internet including a post in this sub Reddit about avoiding any kind of fights.
I saw a video where a driver got down from his car and wanted to fight another driver for some silly reason. The other guy kept calm and didn’t get into it though. Previously also I have heard incidents and watched some videos on social media. Even my friends have experienced such minor incidents.
I’m a maharashtrian guy who works in Hyderabad and here there is nothing like this. People are very calm. All my friends stay in Pune and I eventually want to move to this city but the above situation I mentioned is what I don’t want to get into. Getting into verbal fights for valid reasons is understandable once in a while but whatever I heard were just random cases of hot brains and nothing logical or a big issue to fight over as such.
Also I have commonly visited many cities in Western Maharashtra like Kolhapur and Satara and people are very nice there. But didn’t feel the same whenever I visited Pune. Some people are really nice here too but EGO flows through the blood a lot.
What’s your take on this? Am I judging the city wrong based on a few incidents? Do people compel you to fight even if you don’t want to?
