There is a registered GSTIN company named Global Gaming Zone and Solutions LLP, which was listed on OLX with believable product lists. They also had a WhatsApp operated by a lady who claims she runs the business with her husband.

Everything was very clear cut and I purchased a used laptop for 31000 and I got scammed. Please report these people, either the company is real and these are pseudo frauds or the whole company was fraud.

Please Pune people, report these scammers to the authorities. If the real company owners come forward. The woman in the photo should be sued for defamation and identity fraud.

Call the WhatsApp number normally too. They haven’t deactivated it

    You got balls of steel to make big payment without verifying authenticity of it. India is a low trust society for a reason.
    Go and file police complaint asap.

    register cyber crime complaint immediately, the police helped me recover a lot more money than this so do it as fast as possible and provide them all necessary details like the screenshots, printed copies of your bank statement and their upi id and all, don’t have too much hopes but it can’t hurt to try

    Arre bhai hum police ke pass jayenge toh wo bolenge tu kaun bey.
    – Go register a complaint with your local Thana. They will forward it to Pune Police. Submit all proofs.
    – Olx old accounts are available with a lot of scammers. They cultivate these like little plants to borne fruits later. Some are bought from others as well.
    – This company maybe legit and not even aware of this scam. Someone got a bill of theirs , edited it , shop video can be theirs or anywhere else (shopkeepers allow videos for clients) . Even yeh photos kisi normal logo ki chipaayi hai.
    – You went full greedy, bro. Never go full retard and full greedy. You are the simple guy who will buy 10 lakh worth of household items from CISF/Army guy on OLX for 1 lakh because he has now been posted to Siachen.

    Could have just checked the address on Google maps it’s not even there

    Plus the name of UPI I’d everthing seemed shady.

    Atleast try to file formal complaint GST number seems legit.

    Check RBI website for incorrect UPI transfer issue.
    Can raise dispute [here ](https://www.npci.org.in/what-we-do/upi/dispute-redressal-mechanism) as well.

    Sorry, but in India, a scammer is born every second. Buying used stuff is so so tricky and honestly for myself, I’d never do it. The risk of buying a lemon or being outright scammed far outweighs any benefits that you may get.

    I’d buy from a reputed store with a proven track record and a proper warranty and customer support. Feel for you though and I hope you get your money back somehow. Unlikely but I hope for the best.

    OP posted with the intention of getting help but got victim shamed instead. Feel sorry for you bro. Try to contact those scammers through other numbers and post on social media where there is a wider audience. Seek help from OLX support as well, if the seller has a olx verified tag then olx surely has to help.

    File a [Cyber Crime Complaint](https://www.cybercrime.gov.in/Webform/Accept.aspx) immediately. Share as much details as possible and visit Cyber Crime Branch in Shivajinagar after filing the complaint for in-person follow up. Don’t go there without filing an online complaint, else the police won’t be taking your case seriously and most likely won’t take any action.

    If it’s too good to be true, it’s probably a scam. 58k mei konsa zephyrus milta hai bhai? Always do some research before you buy anything even if it is a well established/ well reputed seller.

    I did it with CeX and got the G14 too, since it was available in Hyderabad and I didn’t want them selling it to anyone, but I trust CeX. I called them on the number listed on their site, I made sure that the item went out of stock after the payment was done, and I kept the call recordings as proof so that I could sue CeX if they did anything shady. I’d never do this with someone I contacted on OLX and Quikr.

    Whatever it is now, go complain on ncrp portal and also call on 1930 number as soon as possible. give them all the evidence you have and they will help you recover your money at the earliest. kudos to you for blindly trusting people on whatsapp, for things like these you should always visit physical stores.

    You can register a complain and ask for transfer reversal. Recently one of my friend got his amount near about 2-3lacs back as he registered the complaint and police reverse transferred the amount

    Can you try calling them from a different phone? Try the whole process again and get in touch with the woman and man so that you can confront them.
    Police FIR never works in this country but try if they can help. I don’t think they will.

    Just FYI, just because the profile picture(s) or ones on their WhatsApp profile are that of one girl and guy *does not mean* that they are the actual scammers. Why would a scammer put her/his own photo on the profile? To get caught?

    Sorry for your loss man. Must be painful.

    Your best bet is to rely on the police or cybercrime dept. It’s always better to visit the shop personally and check the laptop yourself before transferring money. Most scammers show their colors when you’re adamant on visiting personally.

    Most of the time, they play on our fear of losing out on a great deal. But if the deal is too good to be true, you have to be that extra careful.
